15th anniversary of Madrid Institute of Advanced Studies

The Regional Government of Comunidad de Madrid celebrates the 15th anniversary of the creation of the Madrid Institutes for Advanced Studies -IMDEA. These seven public research centers, including IMDEA Nanociencia, develop cutting-edge science and technology with the aim of generating knowledge to transform society.

The commemorative ceremony took place at the Real Casa de Correos, with the participation of the Director General for Research and Technological Innovation, Ana Isabel Cremades, the Directors of all the IMDEA Institutes and the Regional Minister of Education, Universities and Science and Government Spokesman, Enrique Ossorio.

During his speech, Prof. Rodolfo Miranda, Director of IMDEA Nanoscience, recalled the path taken to achieve what our institute is today: a truly interdisciplinary institution, attracting talent from abroad and providing an environment to produce excellent science.
